We are currently seeking a Sr. Web Developer (Programmer/Analyst) to support Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital located in Whittier, CA. Job Description The Sr. Web Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the intranet, and internet applications. The primary application is Microsoft SharePoint 2007. Duties and Responsibilities • Promotes awareness and use of the collaborative and web-based reporting technologies • Develop a web-based systems architecture and Portal Design strategy • Consolidates and manages domain names and hosting requirements for the Internet and Intranet sites • Acts as liaison with intranet/internet stakeholders • Responsible for the client project life-cycle to include managing client expectations, project discovery, design, development and on-going support • Setting appropriate operational procedures, processes, standards, system protocols and guidelines • Regular reporting to management on the status of the internet and intranet applications • Provide project management and coordination of IT projects related to the intranet and internet applications • Manages web-related applications in support of the company’s internet/intranet strategies • Developing help desk capabilities for day to day support of web-based technologies • Administer/Leverage and Enhance Share-point environment • Develop web based applications and reporting for back end SQL/UNIX/DB2 environment • Expert level knowledge in RAD/JAD environment • Develop applications which employ OLAP/OTAP/AAP • Develop FTP infrastructure Required skills: • C#.Net, Asp.net, C-sharp, JSP, AJAX, Ruby on Rails, Oracle/SQL back-end, SQL Database Development, Query management, Database management and web server management. • Ability to communicate and make presentations to customers, as well as understanding the business and how it works, to create intranet and internet web sites that fit their needs.
