Primary responsibilities: Work on the Information Services clinical team, under the direction of the Account Manager, and CIO of TBCH, to implement and roll out inter-disciplinary documentation, using evidence-based content in the Knowledge-Based Charting (KBC) The Brooklyn Hospital Center is a Community Hospital in the heart of Brooklyn that is rolling out Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager through the next several years. The phased implementation include: patient lists, result reporting, clinical documentation, medication manager & full prescriber order entry and physician documentation, ED. The Clinical Documentation Application Analyst will be responsible for working with the hospital clinical staff to embrace the enterprise and/or department process improvements that will result from the implementation of clinical documentation, which include the following responsibilities: • Work with the TBHC team in identifying clinical and operational processes for redesign • Documenting and evaluating the current processes selected for redesign • Designing clinical content • Participate in workgroup activates for clinical transformation • Support end-user education • Support the users during activation Specific experience/Skills required: • Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Ability to identify discrepancies between enterprise processing needs and the capabilities of software products, in general • Clinical Experience in hospital/healthcare environment • Ability to research and analyze information • Knowledge of Knowledge Based documentation a plus Any unsolicited resumes that are received via email, FAX, or other method will become the property of Eclipsys Corporation and no fees will be paid unless the recruiting agency/recruiter (i) is approved to work with Eclipsys pursuant to a valid contract, and (ii) contacts the corporate recruiter and obtains the corporate recruiter’s permission to work on such search. |
