To work on the team that supports the enterprise Surgical Information System (SIS) for The Brooklyn Hospital Center facilities. The hospital is a Community Hospital within the heart of Brooklyn that will uses SIS for scheduling, rules based charging and clinical documentation. Additional responsibilities include: 1. Work under the direction of the team lead to analyze requirements for application modifications, reports and implementation requests 2. Develop and implement testing plans for application modifications 3. Maintain documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the SIS Application 4. Provide end user training as part of implementation projects 5. Provide on-site activation/implementation support 6. Perform application database maintenance activities 7. Provide production support for application issues at all sites 8. Identify/coordinate and communicate issues related to application functionality with other team members responsible for SIS Application support Skill set/experience required: 1. Excellent verbal communication and listening skills with focus on customer satisfaction 2. Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail 3. Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team 4. Experience with SQL Query and understanding of HL7 a plus 5. Crystal report writing skills a plus 6.
