• Collect departmental / clinical end-user requirements. • Define and document clinical end-user requirements. • Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to users of the EMR system. • Troubleshoot functional problems for the EMR system. • Perform interface testing for go lives and upgrades. • Perform functional testing for go lives and upgrades. • Research, identify and implement solutions to special NSLIJ requests or requirements (e.g., special reports, file extracts). • Maintain the configuration of the EMR system, including settings and configuration tables. • Research requested changes to ensure feasibility (e.g., confers with experts). • Analyze report requirements. • Coordinate report development activities. • Communicate with users of the of the EMR system at all levels. • Develop FAQ documents. • Document frequently encountered problems. • Provide input to trainers on frequently encountered problems.
