The Product Configuration Consultant (Custom Services) reports to the Director, Custom Services, and is resonsible for the facilitation of custom reports development involving the Eclipsys Global Reporting team, and development of custom reports, in support of client initiatives involving the Sunrise suite of applications. Primary duties include: • Facilitation of Custom Reporting projects working directly with clients to send project work to the Global team • Analyzing custom report specifications provided by clients and working with clients to refine custom report specifications to facilitate offshore development • Custom reports development based upon client specifications • Support of Custom Services solutions and related processes involving custom reports and reporting in client environments (for example, COLD feed reports and related downstream processes) • Assessing client reports and reporting environments for the purposes of facilitating migration to the SQL Reporting Services platform and/or latest Sunrise releases • Assessing client needs involving custom reports and reporting when required or requested • Troubleshooting issues involving custom reports and reporting based upon client and Global Reporting team needs Additional responsibilities include: • Completion of client session reports at the close of each week. • Completion of time reporting at the close of each week. Prerequisites (includes knowledge, skills and abilities) General • 2-4 years experience with MS Reporting Services and SQL-Server 2005. Knowledgeable/experienced in SQL Server 2005. • Clinical background (nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, etc.) recommended. • Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Positive attitude, highly motivated • Ability to multitask and effective work on projects assigned concurrently • Prior experience with Crystal Reports is a plus Product-Specific • Knowledge of Sunrise Clinical Manager / Sunrise Pharmacy / Sunrise Access Manager database schema • Understanding of the Sunrise reporting architecture and general MS Reporting Services reports development concepts and best practices • Experience with developing reports with at least one major Eclipsys application (Sunrise Clinical Manager, Sunrise Pharmacy, Sunrise Access Manager, etc.) Job Entry Requirements Required Education • College degree or equivalent in related field Required Experience • Five (5) years experience in the healthcare industry -30% travel Any unsolicited resumes that are received via email or FAX will become the property of Eclipsys Corporation and no fees will be paid unless the recruiting agency/recruiter (i) is approved to work with Eclipsys pursuant to a valid contract, and (ii) contacts the corporate recruiter and obtains the corporate recruiter’s permission to work on such search. |
