Requirements
Primary responsibilities of position:
As PeopleSoft administrator, this individual will be responsible for managing the various components of a large and complex Peoplesoft technical architecture supporting HRMS, Finance, Supply Chain, EPM, and eApps modules. Responsibilities include software installation and configuration, management of the Weblogic and Tuxedo application server environments, process schedulers, batch and report servers that support the PeopleSoft application suite. In addition, this individual will design and maintain PeopleSoft security. Responsibilities also include integration with other 3rd party applications and technologies, and application of vendor patches, fixes, and major and minor upgrades

The incumbent will be a member of a group of Application Developers, DBAs and System Administrators in support of a production PeopleSoft environment as well as supporting new development activities. Excellent communication skills, teamwork and collaboration are required, in addition to strong technical skills and business savvy.

Technical skills required include:

• 2-3 years of PeopleTools v8.4x administration experience required (Application Messaging, App Engine, EIP)
• 3+ years general experience supporting and upgrading Peoplesoft applications
• Strong Oracle database and Unix and NT administration experience a plus.
• PeopleSoft security administration required, and experience integrating various LDAP technologies desired ((Microsoft Active Directory, iPlanet, Oracle’s OID etc).
• Database interfaces and protocols (ODBC and JDBC)
• Scripting languages (UNIX Shell scripting, Windows batch files, 3rd party batch schedulers like CA Autosys, Tivoli’s Maestro, etc.)
• Experience with ETL technologies desired.
• Strong trouble-shooting skills and debugging capabilities required
• XML, Java, and other web development experience helpful

In addition, candidate must have excellent analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with critical HRMS, Finance and Supply Chain functionality and processes.
